MSF and World Ed on the ground to assist in Nepal

Dear Friends,

By know you have surely read of the tragic loss and endangerment of human life resulting from the recent earthquake in Nepal. Early on Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders staff were on the ground assessing the crisis and delivering much-needed shelter supplies and surgical teams (their response was thankfully more rapid than my ability to put together a blog post).

World Education also has employees and projects on the ground in Nepal. From their relief news:
"World Education provides aid to those who need it most, and this crisis is no different. The Nepal Relief Fund will actively aid our partners: local NGOs, schools, and community groups with the on-the-ground expertise needed to help their communities. In keeping with World Education's mission, we will focus on the longer-term needs and rebuilding for a better future."

Now is a great time to pledge to support the work that MSF and World Ed are doing and/or make an immediate donation to MSF or World Ed that we will count toward your NEroute pledge.

Our thoughts and good wishes go out to the people effected by this tragedy and for their expeditious recovery.

Nick + Elizabeth
