We're gearing up for the trip! My backpack arrived yesterday: 45 liters to hold everything I'll be taking with me out of the country.

Official Charity Selections!

Nick and I are very excited to officially announce the charities we will be supporting through this journey.

I believe that global education is forefront in the betterment of nations and will be instrumental in unifying us all into one world. I will therefore be blogging for awareness and fundraising for World Education (worlded.org). They have been taking an active role in educating the underprivileged in multiple countries and I hope to see some of their active projects as we go.

Nick is very moved by the unwavering commitment shown by Médecins Sans Frontières aka Doctors Without Borders (msf.org) to deliver healthcare to those most in need anywhere on earth. He will be supporting their cause with his campaign.

We are so excited to start this adventure backing these worthy charities and writing (taking pictures and videos!) for everyone who wants to be a part of this with us.

NEroute launch!

First official post for NEroute! Our Twitter feed is also online now @NEroutes and we'll be getting our introduction online very shortly. Finalization of the charity selections is underway to make sure that your pledges are put to the best use possible and where hopefully we can bring some exposure to the wonderful work that our partners are doing on the ground.
